Teams & Workspaces

A workspace where the deployments, volumes, API keys and credit balance belong to the team — not to whoever happened to sign up first.

Resources belong to the workspace

Everything you create lives in the team that is active when you create it: deployments, volumes, API keys, and the credit balance the GPUs are billed against. SSH keys are the one exception — those stay personal to each member. A teammate opening the console sees the same running boxes you do, with the same spend against the same balance.

You can belong to more than one workspace and switch between them from the top bar. Which one is active is the only thing that decides where a new deployment and its cost land, so it is worth a glance before you launch something expensive.

Roles

Owner has full control including managing admins, with one primary owner per team. Admin manages members and resources. Member deploys and manages workloads. Owners and admins can move someone between Admin and Member, or remove them.

Invites are a shareable link. Someone signed in who follows it joins as a Member, which is the sane default for a new collaborator — enough to deploy and run things, not enough to reshape the team.

Leaving is not destructive

Any member can leave a team from the team page, and leaving does not touch that person's resources in their other workspaces. A contractor who joins for a project and leaves afterwards does not take anything with them or lose their own work.

FAQ

What is scoped to a team on Aquanode?

Deployments, volumes, API keys and the credit balance. Whichever workspace is active when you create something is the workspace that owns it and is billed for it. SSH keys are deliberately not team-scoped — each member registers their own and uses it on the deployments they create.

What roles does a team have?

Owner (full control, including managing admins — one primary owner per team), Admin (manage members and resources), and Member (deploy and manage workloads). Owners and admins can change a member's role or remove them.

How do I invite someone to my workspace?

Share the team's invite link. A signed-in person who follows it joins with Member permissions, which allows deploying and managing workloads without team-management rights.

Can I be in more than one team?

Yes. You can create or join several workspaces and switch the active one from the team switcher in the top bar; all resources and spend belong to the active workspace.

What happens if I leave a team?

You can leave from the team page at any time, and it does not affect your resources in any other workspace you belong to.
